A trip in Reisa national park is something you should not miss! Join us on our guided trips in riverboat on the Reisa river. You will experience our beautiful nature with huge, steep mountainsides and a green environment surrounding the river. We can take you to our national park where you can see waterfalls such as Mollisfossen and Imofossen.
Or perhaps you want to see the over three-thousand-year-old mountain art? Or perhaps you are more interested in our nature? With 122 different bird species and 350 plant species the Reisa nationalpark has one of Northern-Norway’s highest amounts of species. The species found here is from the north as well as from the east. You can find endangered plant species such as “Finnmarksjonsokblom” and “Kveinhavre”.

A guided riverboat-trip to the Mollis waterfall
A trip to Mollis waterfall starts at Bilto with riverboats. The trip takes you through the green lush nature in Reisa national park. If wanted we can make a stop to look at the 3-thousend-year-old mountain art, next to Seima. The trip from Bilto to the Mollis takes about 1 hour. We take a break for 30 minutes by the waterfall where those who want, can walk up close to the waterfall. It takes 5 minutes to walk there. There is a bonfire place, where you can cook food if you want. Next to the bonfire is a lean-to if you want shelter. There is also a lot of space for the children to play. The trip is suitable for both children and grownups. This trip is not physically demanding.
The trips are seasonal. We can offer them during this time: 15.05.-30.10. (depending on the water level in the river)

A guided riverboat-trip to the Imo waterfall
A trip to the Imo starts at Bilto with riverboats. The trip takes you through the green lush nature in Reisa national park. If wanted we can make a stop to look at the 3-thousend-year-old mountain art, next to Seima. Then we will pass Mollis waterfall (and other waterfalls) and continue along the river until we are by Nausti. From Nausti we will continue the trip by foot to the Imo waterfall. There will be a break where you can eat (bring your own food) before we go back to Bilto. On the trip back, there is a possibility to make a stop next to Mollis waterfall.
The trip is medium demanding, because the terrain is somewhat varying.

Tips for the trip:
Clothing: Dress for the weather. Remember that the boat is open, so wear both warm and windproof clothing. We have rain ponchos should it become necessary. We will naturally provide life vests.
Food: Many people bring hot dogs and buns, and some bring bread lunches.
